EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Dr. Shahab Khokhar is a Founding Director of DRK Research Solutions. He is also a Founder Partner at Knightsbridge Capital Group, a leading private equity investment firm with projects under management worth over USD70 million. Dr. Khokhar was also a Partner at Winsome SA (Switzerland), a venture capital / private equity investment firm where he co-led the funding for Enecsys Ltd. (Cambridge), which in total raised around USD100 million in growth capital. He has also been a consultant to Rio Tinto plc. (London) and ENI SpA (Rome).
He was also a Board Member of Vitals Healthcare, a company having master franchise of 45 pathology labs collection centers of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, the leading cancer hospital in the country. In collaboration with world’s leading scientists, he co-founded Cambridge Cell Networks (CCNet), a bioinformatics company. “Real Business” recognized CCNet among Top 50 companies to watch in the UK. Dr. Khokhar has also been on various government boards of in the sectors of health care and technical vocational & skill development. He has also been a Visiting Faculty at the LUMS.
Dr. Khokhar received his Ph.D. in Mathematical Finance from King’s College, University of Cambridge (UK). He was awarded the Commonwealth and King’s College Scholarships during his time at the University of Cambridge.
Dr. Khokhar has been the Chapter Chair of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Indus Chapter. He is an avid cyclist and competes in road races at the national level.
